Students will not be required to be tested to come or stay at the Manor. However, any person showing COVID-19 symptoms will be isolated and tested within the UK healthcare system.
Students showing any symptoms will be required to self-isolate in their rooms or in a quarantine room and meals will be delivered to them. Any person with close contact to students showing symptoms will also be required to self-isolate.
The Manor can enter another quarantine period at any time should cases be suspected where the entire community is involved. If another quarantine period is required, all travel will be suspended and classes will be held virtually through the quarantine period.
Should the UK or US go into lockdown, the situation will be reviewed by teams at Harlaxton and the University of Evansville. The goal is to not curtail the semester but go into a lockdown at the Manor that allows the semester to be completed. In this case, students would be appraised of the new rules that may include not leaving the Manor grounds and classes may be in person or virtual. The goal is to finish the semester within the parameters of the lockdown and keep everyone, including employees, as safe as possible.
