Five-Week Summer

Imagine a summer living in a countryside British manor house, taking courses that get you out exploring the UK each week, making new friends from all over, and traveling across the UK and Europe on the weekends. This will be you at Harlaxton this summer! We offer two summer sessions with a variety of courses and travel opportunities.

Our summer program includes a London excursion and a BritRail England pass, so you can engage with travel in the UK and explore London, a vibrant world capital. You’ll have on site accommodations and have access to our student services and full-time staff for any questions or issues.

You can select to come in late May for session 1, July for session 2, or stay for both, and travel between the two to experience UK and Europe. In session 2, you can select the internship option or class options, allowing for a customizable experience.

Courses

• Harlaxton offers a variety of courses in many subject areas including: Art, English, Sociology, History, Psychology, Marketing, Writing
• Summer courses meet either in the mornings (AM) or afternoons (PM), so look carefully at the course descriptions below to avoid course conflicts
• When you apply, you will be asked to list your first and second course choices for AM and/or PM
• After our deposit deadline in late January, we determine which courses will run based on the number of people of who have chosen each course
• The course list will be shorter after mid-February, so apply early if you have a particular course you want!
