Have you ever gone to the store asking for the pants
section only to be directed to the women’s underwear? Better yet, on the way
home you ask for a ride and the taxi cab driver winks at you! If so, you
should consider these common British terms. It may be helpful to avoid
getting handed an eraser when asking for a rubber at the local convenience
store…
